The municipal library in Plasy is a library entrusted with the performance of regional functions for 59 libraries of the former Pilsen-North district. We offer our readers and visitors the opportunity to meet with writers, travellers and other interesting and inspiring people. We hold readings for small children and events for pupils of local and nearby schools, and we cooperate with other institutions in the town. To promote sustainability, we have also been running a seed library and book exchange for three years. We offer a safe space for everyone.

There is a shelf accessible to all in the library corridor, where visitors can place functional and undamaged items such as toys, flower pots, mugs, clocks... People who need these items, or who will find joy in them, can take them home for free. We give things a second chance, we don't waste.
