The public library is one of the most popular institutions in the city of Frankfurt am Main – offering a wide range of analog and digital media für all ages in all its libraries, a library of things (Zeusch für Eusch) and a variety of events.

The system includes 18 libraries in the city districts and a mobile library.

The Schulbibliothekarische Arbeitsstelle | sba is considered a nationwide pioneer in working for and with school libraries. It serves over 100 school libraries in its network and offers media services and advice to all Frankfurt schools.
